Accompanied by neighbors, as well as by the honorary president of the DIF Municipal System, Rocío Pegueros Velázquez, the municipal president of Toluca, Ricardo Moreno, began this program in the emblematic Josué Mirlo park, located in the Morelos neighborhood. During the event, he reaffirmed his commitment to the construction of a Smart, more modern and safer City.
The mayor stressed that adequate lighting contributes significantly to the recovery of public spaces and strengthens social coexistence, since it gives families the confidence to go out and enjoy their environment, thus strengthening the community fabric. He pointed out that only a cohesive and supportive society can live in peace, respond together in the face of adversity and provide support when it is most needed.
In addition, he reiterated that his government is working to guarantee the right of all people to live better, through the incorporation of new technologies that optimize public services.
