Environmental Islands: Orion's new way of waste management

The Environmental Island consists of two sensors: the optical sensor, and the Orion R for fill-level monitoring.

By leveraging the our infrastructure, waste collection routes can be automated using Artificial Intelligence verification via the optical sensor. This allows for improved management of fill levels as well as the deposition of bulky items.

Thanks to this technology, unwanted deposits outside of containers are reduced, and collection points and routes are optimized—making resource use more efficient while protecting the environment.
